I recently stayed at the Glencoe Guesthouse in Keswick to climb the highest mountain in England the celebrated Scafell Pike.
I found the accommodation on the Internet through Google search and chose it as it looked nice on the website and was a reasonably priced B&B compared to others in the area.
The accommodation was well presented and the breakfasts were served early [maybe a little to early if you need a lie in after a long day on the hill - my only gripe!] There was no problem with catering for my diet, they made me sandwiches with my bread, and other facilities were available in town, Keswick has an abundance of good restaurants.

Torres Sangre De Torro is a full bodied red wine that has plenty of flavour. Rich in fruity flavours it goes well with many foods. A very good wine to have with rare fillet steak, new potatoes and mixed salad.

Did you know some blue cheeses like Roquefort have wheat flour in them which helps to produce the blue streaks?
Be careful when choosing your cheese.

Since Kelloggs started ‘barley washing’ its products I thought I’d try an alternative cereal -Doves Farm Cornflakes
They look a little different, texture is slightly odd, but taste pretty good, so a thumbs up from me!

A crisp fruity aromatic wine with a dry finish. Ideal with pasta, sea food and spicy food.
I have been drinking this wine for over a decade [ with a few breaks between ]. It’s wicked - as most people love it, and very reasonably priced. A real winner.
Highly recommended.
