I was diagnosed a Coeliac in my early teens, and found it really quite difficult to get used to cutting the Gluten from my diet.

I love food and through this love, have now decided to share my thoughts via this weblog ‘Blog’.

Many people are now diagnosed with various allergies and intolerances to wheat and gluten.

I want to make life a little easier for those who are finding it difficult to adjust - and bring back some enjoyment of food into their lives.

I also like a ‘tipple’ so this site will discuss good wine too! It has to be a good combination-

I have found ways of cooking and catering for a GF diet perfectly well in very remote situations, like in snow holes, at altitude on Alpine glaciers for example. I’ll share this information if requested.
